This MUSICIAN'S DREAM-GEAR is FULLY FUNCTIONAL, and I would say it is in EXCELLENT condition, especially for its age! However, and respectfully, since everyone has different standards, please don't take my word for it; I'll let the pictures do the talking. 🙂

The following services were done, which cost me over $300! I'm sure you may find others for less than what mine is selling for, however, you would then need to find someone who would work on these (which is very rare nowadays), and then who knows how much it would cost to make it fully functional??! These synths are over 40 years old, which means unless they had just been serviced, hardly any of them would be fully functional; and condition is everything.

This synth is one of the most amazing synths of all time! IT WAS SO COOL, THAT PRODIGY (The power-house British band), GOT THEIR NAME AFTER IT!!!

With its rich/creamy Moog-style PHATT ANALOG SYNTH BASS, and razor-sharp lead sounds, it is a timeless gear, and will forever be relevant/usable in all electronic music productions. It is truly breathtaking... And for those reasons, it will forever remain a favorite, and will only go up in value! It is a MUST HAVE for anyone who produces music, or is simply interested in synthesizers...
Because it is so user friendly; IT IS AN AWESOME SYNTH TO LEARN SYNTHESIS ON!

If you can't afford a Minimoog, look into the Prodigy! It's a simple design with strikingly good sound, and it's perfect for learning analog synthesis with. Love the wood casing! Simple, sweet, Moog. It is used by Überzone, Cirrus, Astral Projection, Fatboy Slim, Depeche Mode, 808 State, Prodigy, Howard Jones, Blur, The New Deal, Solaris, Jimmy Edgar, and the Hippos.

WHY BUY FROM ME?

When you're buying a vintage (or just a used) car, does the condition matter? Of course it does! 😊
That is why when it comes to buying a used car, price is not everything... And buying a second hand synthesizer, is no different than purchasing a vintage or used car.

Yes, I'm proud of my children for sure. Mainly because when it comes to used keyboards and synths (just like used cars), condition is EVERYTHING! I have searched hard, hand-picked and collected only the best of the best that are in pristine condition (majority of them); and then, had them professionally inspected, serviced/repaired (if needed), reprogrammed/restored (if needed), detailed...
There's definitely value in that. On average, I spend about two hours on every single keyboard, before offering it for sale, and if they're not serviced, or if they don't pass the inspection, I don't sell them! I believe in selling ONLY quality items, to ensure that my clients are very happy with their purchase, which produces repeats, referrals and customers for life! 😁

With all other used gear from other sources, including the major retailers, you'd have to keep your fingers crossed until it arrives... And most often, they are not what they were described to be, and often enough turn into headaches or heartaches...but you can rest assured that, if you buy from me, you will get a fully functional gear, and you'll get to see tons of detailed pictures, before making up your mind! 🙂
No retailer would service them prior to the sale, as it costs an additional $250-$300! And that is what I do, as a labor of love! I do this because I really enjoy ANYTHING and EVERYTHING about synthesizers! Buying, selling, fixing, collecting, playing...I just love them! 😍

A LITTLE ABOUT ME:

I am a 46-year-old, with a degree in electronic engineering, who LOVES Synthesizers, Music, and Electronics in general. Even though I do not work in the electronic field; I have always loved it, never separated; and as a hobby, I collect and fix them (if broken); and sometimes sell them to make room for others... And, to make sure the next owner would not have any issues, I test them, open them(if necessary), and serviced them.

The Prodigy was an entry-level monosynth from Moog, which has since become a very popular and widely used Bass-synth in techno and electronic music. It was designed as an affordable dual-oscillator synth. It was, however, designed without any help from Bob Moog himself. But that didn't stop the Prodigy from becoming an excellent analog synth!

Its simple yet effective design employs two voltage controlled oscillators (VCOs) with saw, triangle and pulse waveforms...all classic analog stuff! There's also a genuine Moog 24dB / octave lowpass filter (emphasis), A/D/S envelope generator, and LFO with square or triangle waveforms and routing to the VCF, VCO or both! Even Portamento, Pitch and Mod wheels.

Oscillators - 2 VCO's with sawtooth, triangle, and pulse (narrow/square) waveforms
LFO - Square or Triangle
