15 Funeral Today Meta A. Rodenberg, nee Schrader, 83, of Waterloo, wife of the late Henry W. Rodenberg, died Feb. 15, 1987, at the Monroe County Nursing Home, Waterloo, where she had been a resident for two months. She was a waitress at Rex's Confectionery for 29 years before her retirement.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. today (Wednesday) at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Waterloo, Pastor Fred Wehrenberg officiating. Burial was in Cemetery, Waterloo. The Quernheim Funeral Directors were in charge.

She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Waterloo and its Afternoon Women's Guild. Her survivors include a daughter, Verna Mehrtens, Columbia; and a son, Norman Rodenberg, of Springfield; a daughter-in-law, Helen Rodenberg, Belleville; six grandchildren, Julie Erickson, Dr. David Rodenberg and Jeffrey Rodenberg; Connie, James and Jane Mehrtens; a brother and sister-in-law, Victor and Esther Schrader, Waterloo; a brother-in-law, Edwin Frischkorn, Belleville; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry W.

Rodenberg who died Jan. 15, 1937, and a sister, Anita Frischkorn. Oakes Baby Died Feb. 10 in Iowa Brian Jerry Oakes, one of the twin sons of David and Sherri Oakes born Dec. 12, 1986, died suddenly Feb.

10,. 1987, at his home in Odebolt, la. Funeral services were held Feb. 13 in DeSoto, Mo. Besides his parents, Brian is survived by his twin brother, Benjamin David, and grandparents Sherron Taylor of Waterloo, Elden Taylor of Denver and Mildred Oakes of DeSoto, Mo.

Mrs. Kelkhoff Died at Age 56 Jeanette Kelkhoff, nee Altes, 56, of Red Bud, died Feb. 17, 1987, at Memorial' wife Hospital, of the Belleville. late Oscar 'She was Kelkhoff. Mrs.

Kelkhoff had been employed at Snyder General Corporation, Red Bud. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Feb. 19 at Koch-Liefer Funeral Home in Red Bud. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m.

Feb. 20 in St. John's Lutheran Church, Red Bud, the Rev. Donald Schultz officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Kelkhoff was born April 30, 1930, in Waterloo, a daughter of Alfred and Elsa Altes, nee Hoffman. She is survived by her father who lives in Columbia; two daughters, Betty Rowald, St. Louis, and Connie Kelkhoff, Pueblo, a son, Alan Kelkhoff, Chicago; a sister, Darlene Jacobs, Columbia; two grandchildren and her mother-in-law, Selma Kelkhoff, Red Bud. Funeral services were held this morning at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Columbia for Lawrence G.

Hubble 69, of Columbia, who died Feb. 16, 1987, at the Monroe County Nursing Home in Waterloo, where he had been a resident for 10 months. He was the husband of Mrs. Laverne M. Hubble, nee Meller.

The Rev. Vincent Haselhorst officiated at the Mass, and burial was in the church cemetery. There was a Scripture reading at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Lawlor Funeral Home: in Columbia. Mr.

Hubble was a retired bottler for the Anheuser Busch Co. in St. Louis and a member of Teamsters Local 1187. He was born Sept. 4, 1917, in St.

Louis, a son of Grover Lawrence. Hubble and Emma Hubble, nee Keenan. Besides his wife, he is survived by eight daughters, Doris Hubble of Columbia, Mrs. Everett (Emilie) Chastain of Granite, City, Darlene Barringer St. Louis, Mrs.

She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in East St. Louis. Her suvivors include a daughter, Mrs. Floyd (Drusilla) Pullen, Fults; six granddaughters, Rosealie Watkins, Waterloo; Rosemarie Fausz, Fults; Shirley Buettner, Waterloo; Sharon Kettler and Linda Fabik, both of Belleville; and Stellhorn, Baldwin; 19 great grandchildren, and eight great great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, a son, two greatgrandsons, a brother and a sister.

Last Rites for Joseph Kaiser Joseph B. Kaiser, 95, of Waterloo, husband of Hedwig T. Kaiser, nee Reinhardt, died Feb. 14, 1987, at Sparta Community Hospital, Sparta, after being a patient for a week. He was a retired farmer.

A funeral Mass was said at 10 a.m. Feb. 17 in St. Augustine of Canterbury Church in Hecker, Msgr. C.

Cunningham officiating. Burial was in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis. The Quernheim Funeral Directors in Waterloo were in charge. Mr.

Kaiser was born July 17, 1891, near Hecker, a son of the late Bernard and Elizabeth Kaiser, nee Hagen. He was a World War I army veteran, and was a member of American Legion Post 747, Waterloo. He was a member of St. Augustine of Canterbury Church in Hecker. The Rosary was recited at 8 p.m.

Monday at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife; a son and daughter-in-law, Sylvester B. and Veronica E. Kaiser, Waterloo; a grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Bernard S. and Paula K.
